Bergen International Festival, Norway, May 23-June 6
Founded in 1953, the Bergen International Festival has focused on presenting prominent international and Norwegian artists in the fields of music, ballet, opera, theatre, dance and the performing arts. The principal event of its kind in Norway, it takes place every year over 15 days at the end of May and presents over 200 events. This years highlights feature the themes of Foundation, Friction, and Festivities.
Geronimo Festival, Cheshire, UK, May 25-28
The UK’s largest family festival is back at Arley Hall in Cheshire for the fourth year running. Celebrated as “Glastonbury for Kids”, the festival is a celebration of all things music, circus, activity, nature and fun!
