Landing A Job In The Entertainment Industry
Hiring and maintaining staff is an important part of running a venue. Venues need their regular full-time employees as well as the staff they keep in their ‘back pocket‘ for larger events. Working at the university, I often get to be the first person to introduce potential future staff of these venues to the wonderful world of sound. Throughout the hiring process, I have noticed a trend with job candidates, in particular with their applications. So I thought I would highlight a few tips for people about to hit the job market and get those coveted interviews.
