Actsafe Certification – Live Performance Electrical Certificate

The LPEC is an industry training credential that workers in the performing arts industry can obtain by taking an online exam. The test covers electrical work performed during the setup, run and strike of live events, to cable and maintain a lighting rig or set up audio-visual or public address systems for live events and performances.

Applicants must demonstrate and document 800 hours of practical experience in their application to be eligible to write the test. Successful applicants will be sent an email with instructions to access the exam. A digital certificate will be uploaded to the participant’s profile upon successful completion of the exam.

Applications can be submitted via email to info@actsafe.ca as well as mailed or drop off at the Actsafe office located at #140 – 4259 Canada Way in Burnaby.
