Jessica Ward joins us to chat all things acrobatics. Jessica is an Australian acrobat based out of Dubai. She has extensive experience in different acrobatic disciplines such as hand balancing, cerceaux and aerial silks; she was the lead acrobat at La Perle.

Episode 21 – Globe Riding with Antonio Silva

Antonio Silva joins us to talk all things Globe Riding and Circus. Born in Brazil, Antonio has been working as a Globe Rider for over 12 years, and has performed all over the world as a Circus Performer.

Episode 26 – Coaching with Rob Winch

Rob Winch is the head coach and acrobatic stunt specialist for a number of well-known shows. Born in London, Rob is a former gymnastic champion and started his career as an acrobat and aerialist. His 12 year performance career saw him work across cruise ships, stunt shows, musical theatre, dance, tv and film platforms.

Episode 28 – Circus in Mexico with Charly Ortega

Charly Ortega is originally from Mexico and has worked for Cirque du Soleil and Dragone shows across the world. Building a career that stemmed from his childhood passion for theatre and circus, Charly studied to postgraduate level before spending the last 7 years working with Cirque and Dragone. He has a vast knowledge on traditional and modern circus history and culture, and talks to us about the differences between them, as well as his interesting life experiences.

Carlos Navarrete is a multi-talented production and costume designer, and most recently, a creative director. Carlos considers himself creative by nature and designer by trade. He designs for more than 54 productions of theatre, dance, parades, ceremonies, theme parks and live events around the world.

Martin has performed around the world for the last decade as a dancer, aerialist, choreographer, artistic consultant and director. Ottavio hails from six generations of circus performers, and has a vast performing history as Mr G across many disciplines, and he is the co-author of The Grand Gypsy book with his grandfather, who was a revered circus performer.

Episode 67 – Trapeze and aerial choreography with Melissa Colello

In this episode, we are joined by Melissa Colello talking all things trapeze and aerial choreography. Melissa is well-known for her dance/trapeze act, and has toured as an aerialist for many circus and entertainment companies and she has also choreographed all around the world, accumulating over 25 years experience. She talks to us all about her fascinating career.
