What is your favourite scene in the show and why?

My favourite scene is the scene in the “Dinner Party” where the pig dances and does slow motion / It is not a living organism but I love how it moves dynamically.

A good heart / diligence / perseverance

What would be your advice for anyone who wants to do what you do?

You can do everything as time passes. If you have a good senior or mentor.

시간이 지나면 다 할 수 있다. 좋은 선배만 있다면.

Who is the colleague that makes you laugh the most and why?

It’s different from time to time. I often have conversations with the stage light operators during the performance. Of course, it is all about the show.

그때그때 다릅니다. 공연 중에는 조명 오퍼레이터와 가끔 수다를 떨면서 솔직한 얘기를 하죠. 물론 공연과 관련하여.

What was it like to be one of the only shows that remained open during the height of the pandemic?

I am sad to see the emptier auditorium. A show like Beetlejuice deserves an uproarious cheer by a packed house of audiences. Last year, a lot of us had to take time off our work but I am grateful that we are now able to work together.

비어있는 관객석이 아쉽습니다. 작품의 특성상 환호가 적은 것도 아쉽고요. 작년에 모두가 다 같이 오래 쉬어서 올해는 일 할 수 있어서 다행이라고 생각합니다.

How did you continue to lift morale for the team while ensuring everyone’s health and safety?

I am being more mindful of personal hygiene. We don’t have any parties to cheer each other on… I am sad that we cannot get together as much. Instead, I often get together with close people to get a cup of coffee and revive our energy.

개인의 위생에 더 신경쓰고 있습니다. 서로 화이팅을 할 만한 파티는 할 수 없구요… 같이 모이는 자리가 없어서 아쉽습니다. 대신 가끔씩 가까운 사람들과 커피를 마시면서 피로를 이겨냅니다.

Tell us one thing about yourself that you learned during the pandemic?

How precious our normal daily life is.
